The SDP Foundation and Pampered Palette have joined together to create the 2013 Pampered Palette Juried Art Exhibition.

Exhibition of semi-finalist work will take place at the 41st SDP International Conference & Expo, May 16–18, 2013 at Pheasant Run Resort, just west of downtown Chicago in St. Charles, Ill.

Enter your best artwork by Dec. 17, 2012.

Art will be judged in three divisions: Professional, Hobbyist, and Beginner. Professionals and Hobbyists may enter one or all of six categories:

• Folk Art/Strokework
• Floral
• Still Life
• Animals
• Holiday
• Original Design

Beginners will be judged in a single category.

Awards in cash and merchandise will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize in each category. In addition, awards will be presented for best in medium:

• Best in Acrylic
• Best in Colored Pencil
• Best in Oil (including heat-set oils)
• Best in Watercolor
• People's Choice: Will be chosen by vote of Conference attendees

Award amounts:
Category Prizes
1st = $100
2nd = $50
3rd = $35

Best in Medium = $200
Best in Show = $500

The Pampered Palette Award of Excellence will be presented to the artist that is considered to be Best in Show. This is a purchase award, with the artwork becoming the property of the SDP Foundation Permanent Collection.

All artists are invited to submit. Cost of submission is $10 US per entry for SDP members and $25 US per entry for non-members.
